Modified Bellingham Farmers Market
The Bellingham Farmers Market is a community icon among locals, and supports small family farms, local businesses, and helps feed people healthy, nutritious food. Since suspending operations in March, the Market has been working diligently with the Whatcom County Health Department to create a modified market that ensures the health and safety of its vendors and shoppers. The Bellingham Farmers Market is vital to the success of over one hundred local producers. They depend on the market being open in order to make sales, make ends meet, and ensure a thriving business. They want to feed you healthy, nutritious, tasty food – grown and made right here, where you live, work, and play. We hope you consider shopping at the farmers market for your produce and grocery needs. Every purchase truly makes a difference.

Brigid Collins Fall Happy Hour Fundraiser
This year, as we all stay home and stay healthy, our annual breakfast fundraisers are going virtual for HAPPY HOUR on November 12th! In partnership with Boundary Bay Brewery, join us for happy hour from the comfort of your home and help honor two of the Children’s Advocacy Center multidisciplinary team heroes – Child Forensic Interviewers Courtney Long, Skagit County Prosecutor’s Office and Gail Tierney, Brigid Collins Family Support Center. With a pandemic creating conditions for a rise in child abuse, on top of the historic demand for services, we need your support this year more than ever! Show kids their community stands with them by making sure essential services at the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Whatcom and Skagit Counties are always available to help them find hope, healing and justice. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Whatcom and Skagit Counties. If you would like to restrict your donation to a specific area of service, there is an option to do so. Join the fun, raise your glass (and your invisible paddles) to make a difference in our communities. Registration is now open – and it’s free! You can also purchase a raffle ticket ($20 each) for your chance to win an awesome prize (valued at $150).

By participating in the 2020 Hamster “Socially Distant” Scavenger Hunt, you’ll get to see some of these businesses as well as other landmarks that make Whatcom County special.
